2007 CROSS COUNTRY ALASKA
JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
MARCH 10TH & 11TH
HOSTED BY THE SALCHA SKI CLUB

Location: Darrell L. Coe Salcha Nordic Racing Trails – Adjacent to Salcha Elem. School – 37 Mile Richardson Hwy.
Coaches meeting: 8:30am Saturday Start Time: 11:00 AM, both days.
Start Method: Mass Start on Saturday and Interval Start on Sunday.
Technique: Saturday – Freestyle: Sunday – Classic.
Age Classes: USSA classes J2 through J6.
Guest Class: Any J1 or OJ Skier
Entry Deadline: March 7th, 2007.
Registration: CCAK Website @ www.crosscountryalaska.org
Entry Fee: $20.00 for both races.
Late Entries: Will only be accept on March 9th, 2007 at Salcha Elem in the gym at 6:00PM.
Late Entry Fee: $25.00 for both races.
Waxing: Salcha Elementary Gym.
Awards: Daily, over-all championship, and team awards will be presented.
Saturday: Awards Ceremony and Potluck in school gym following races (3 PM?) Everyone is invited. Out of town families, please bring a dessert, rolls or salad. Everything else is provided.
Sunday: Awards Ceremony in gym as soon after race, as results are available.
Team Competition: Each skier listing a club/school on the entry form will be considered a team member and eligible to score team points. Points from top four skiers on each team will be counted toward team total. These four will include at least one boy and one girl (no all-girl or all-boy teams). Also, no combined teams (members from different clubs/schools). Skiers must compete in both races for points to count toward team total.
